Muslims in China
Although China is very distant , Islam reached it by sea and by land less than 20years after the prophet the Prophet`s death . Today , there 14 million Muslims and hundreds of mosques there. Some speak a Chinese language. Others speak languages from Persia , Turkey and central Asia . Some are farmers. Others are shepherds . Muslims in China are free to practice their religion without any problems . Chinese people bow and prostrate to the emperor . But Muslims never do that. They only bow and

The Story of Oil
Oil began to form millions of years ago. When the tiny plants and animals that lived in the sea died, they sank to the bottom and rotted . They are covered by other things such as rock and pushed deep into the earth . Hydrogen and carbons came together. Then oil and natural gas were formed . It is not easy to find oil . So, modern technology must be used . Satellite pictures help to make geological maps . Explosions can be made to find oil . Crude oil and gas come from under the ground by drilling . Then goes to a refinery to produce several products such as butane gas for cooking and petrol for cars . Oil products have become a part of our daily life . They are used in clothes, plastic toys, cars , roads , buildings and furniture .

The first modern Olympic Games took place in Athens in 1896. The Olympics take place every four years . They are held in different cities. Only the best athletes can take part in the Olympics. Different games are played such as running, discus , javelin , shot-put, taekwondo and archery besides rifle-shooting , football, volleyball, swimming and tennis. The Modern Saudi Postal Service
In the past, mail services in Saudi Arabia were limited . But today a very advanced postal system ha been increased nine times since 1970. In the past letters were sorted by hand. Express mail can be received in 26 Saudi towns . Also, electronic mail has been introduced. The PTT intends to keep its services as modern as possible .
